The real Mary Brown and Christine Brown relaxing at Nocalula Falls on the night of the movie November 7, 1993

Mary Brown and her granddaughter Terrah Christine Brown spent the night of November 7, 1993 at a place called Nocalula Falls in Gadsden, Alabama. They were watching the premier of the movie about their case there. Mary Brown had a hand in re telling the facts regarding her son's murder case.  Mary Brown talked about her son's case often. She never got over his murder and neither did her husband Jack who often blamed himself.

I went to school with her from 7th grade until the 10th grade. Terrah called herself Chris then at that time. She was "nice enough" you might say, however she always seemed to want to draw attention to herself that this terrible event happened to her and they made a movie about her because of it. I think it's more sad that she wound up in jail herself, but that's the choices she made. I pray for her daily. If you ever see this Terrah, I wanted you to know that, in the lunch line, 7th grade, I didn't say what you thought I said. I said "thank you," though you always thought, I'm sure, that I said something else.
